Lithium-Ion Battery for Power Station

Overview of the Lithium-Ion Battery

The Lithium-Ion Battery for the ResMed Power Station (or RPS) II by ResMed is an expertly engineered, top-notch device designed to supply power via the RPS II system. This battery is a standalone piece and functions great as a replacement or backup item. The lithium-ion battery contains both visual and audible signals which alert users when the battery needs to be recharged; what's more, at under 2 pounds, the battery is very lightweight and exceptionally easy to transport and carry.

Battery Coupler

The lithium-ion battery can be connected to another battery for the purpose of providing double run time. In order to connect your battery with another battery unit in this manner you'll need to purchase a battery coupler. The battery coupler automatically switches to the second battery when the first is fully drained. Just by itself, this battery is capable of supplying power for at least 24 hours, which makes it ideal for travelers who are constantly on the move.

The lithium-ion battery for the ResMed Power Station II is not designed for any specific machine but instead is intended to be paired with the RPS II and then used to supply power to corresponding CPAP and VPAP machines. The RPS II and battery coupler kit are sold separately.

Question Hello, I have the Resmed AirSense 10 Autoset CPAP with heated air tubing. I want to add two back-up batteries (a pigtail) in case of power outage and also for camping. I want to be able to charge with my home electricity and also a car cigarette lighter. My doctor recommended the Freedom + CPAP battery. All the converters, cables, connectors etc. are so confusing. Can you tell me exactly waht I need to simply add two back-up batteries that I can hook up at home and also take with me while camping? I don't need solar charging. Thanks so much!
Hi there, this power supply you're looking at by ResMed, as well as the Medistrom Pilot 24 Lite battery could work with your device as a battery back up. Unfortunately you are unable to connect 2 together. The battery would be plugged into your CPAP, and then the battery plugged into the wall using your charging cord for the Airsense 10. This will keep the battery charged, and would kick in if the power goes out. You can also charge it and use it when camping. If you need more power you will need to connect to a stand-alone, deep cycle battery. You can find the proper connections here:
