The Transcend P8 Multi-Night Lithium-Ion Battery System manufactured by Somnetics is a travel friendly and lightweight device which has a number of impressive features. The Transcend Multi-Night Battery is very simple to carry - it weighs just 1.1 pounds - and its compact design enables it to fit neatly inside a variety of storage compartments. When fully charged, the P8 has the capacity to operate continuously for 14-16 hours (at 14cm H2O) so patients will be able to receive two nights of therapy before having to recharge their battery system. Emergency Outage

As an emergency provision, the Transcend P8 is capable of supplying uninterrupted power in the case of an outage. To utilize this function, simply connect the P8 to your Transcend CPAP machine using an AC power cord and the P8 battery will automatically deliver power during the outage.
