Everything You Need to Know About Your Machine
How often are machines replaced?
Our rental machines are designed for regular use up to 2 years or 5,840 hours. If you reach this limit, contact us for a newer model.
How do you clean the machines?
We carefully sanitize all returned rental machines and set each one aside for 7 days before shipping it to the next customer. We also ensure that all replaceable parts, such as filters and water tubs, are replaced with brand new ones.
Does the rental come with a heated humidifier and tubing?
Rental machines come with a new water tub and humidifier, except for the Transcend Micro and AirMini. Standard tubing is provided, but heated CPAP tubing can be purchased if desired.
Does the rental include a CPAP mask?
To ensure personal hygiene, rental machines do not come with a CPAP mask. You may use your own mask or purchase a CPAP mask from here.
How do I return the rental?
Contact us by phone or email, and we will send you a return label.
What is the minimum rental period?
Our minimum rental period is one month.
Does the rental CPAP machines include a battery?
No.
Does the rental machine come with a travel bag?
Yes.
Which machines have remote connections?
Only ResMed AirSense 11 AutoSet, ResMed AirMini Travel CPAP, and Philips Respironics DreamStation 2 are capable of remote data transmission.

Do you charge insurance?
We only accept credit cards for our rental program. We recommend checking with your insurance provider regarding reimbursement.
Do you accept credit card or PayPal?
At this time, we only accept credit cards for our monthly rental program.
Do you take debit cards or FSA/HSA cards for rental orders?
No, we currently only accept credit cards for rental orders.
Is this program available to international customers?
No, we currently only accept orders from within the United States, excluding US Territories.
How do you charge for subsequent months?
We charge your credit card on file each month, starting from the initial order date. Please contact us to update your card if it has expired.
What if I want to buy the machine after a few months' rental?
If you are interesting in buying out your rental machine, please contact our customer service team. The monthly rental fees you have paid can be applied towards the purchase of the machine, up to a maximum of half of the current machine retail price. For more details on the buy-out process, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Why do you need to place a payment hold?
The payment hold serves as a security deposit for the rental machine, in case of any damages or non-return of the equipment. Once the rental period is over and the machine is returned in good condition, the hold is released.
Do I have to pay for the payment hold amount?
No. The hold is "pending" on your bank statement but doesn't require payment. You only pay the rental fee, and we renew the hold and charge the monthly fee until the machine is returned.

What if the machine is broken due to manufacturer defects?
If your rental machine is defective due to manufacturer issues, we will replace it for you.
What if I break or lose the machine?
If you break or lose the rental machine, you will be charged up to 80% of the new machine price in accordance with CPAPMAN's policy.
What if I lose the machine parts that need to be returned?
In accordance with CPAPMAN's rental policy, if any parts that need to be returned are lost, the renter will be charged the price of the part as listed on the website. Please note that there is a fee of $20.00 for misplaced machine manuals.

Prescription Required
Prescription Required
To rent a CPAP machine, a prescription is required. If you have not had a sleep study, you can purchase a home sleep test from us. If you have previously purchased a machine from CPAPMAN.com, we may already have your prescription on file. Otherwise, you can fax a copy to us at 1-866-936-3730 or email it to us at sales@cpapman.com. We must have a copy of your prescription before we can ship your rental. We can also contact your physician directly if needed.

Please note that our minimum rental period is 1 month and is rounded up to the nearest month. For example, if you keep the machine for 2 months and 14 days, you will be charged for 3 months. The rental period is calculated from the order date until the return drop-off date. Please be aware that we do not offer refunds for charged monthly costs.
We have included a 10-day grace period to account for transit time before charging the next month's rental fee.

To ensure the security of our rental machines, we only ship to credit card billing addresses. Shipping is available to the contiguous 48 states, and we offer free return shipping for these areas via USPS Flat Rate or UPS Ground. However, we regret that we are unable to ship to US Territories at this time.

The machine must be returned without any defects. We strongly recommend you take pictures of any marks or defects you spot when you first receive the machine and send them to us for our records. CPAPMAN will charge up to 80% of the price of a new machine for rental machines that are lost or returned damaged. CPAPMAN reserves the right of final interpretation/determination of the machine’s condition.

How does it work?
Upon placing an order, we charge the machine rental fee and place a payment hold on your credit card. The hold amount ranges from $499 - $2,299, depending on the machine chosen. The hold will appear as “pending” on your bank statement but will not require payment, and you will only be charged the monthly rental fee. We renew the hold and charge the monthly fee each month until the machine is returned. The hold is released after we receive the machine.
About your credit card:
Customers are required to provide a credit card under their name with a matching billing/shipping address. The credit card must have an expiration date of at least 3 months away. Customers are advised to contact us promptly for an update if their card is about to expire. Debit cards, PayPal, and FSA/HSA cards are not accepted as payment methods for rental orders.
When placing your order, make sure your credit card has enough credit to cover both the monthly rental fee and payment hold amount. If there is not enough credit, your order may be delayed or canceled. If the monthly rental charge is declined, we will reach out to you to address the issue. If we cannot resolve it, the payment hold will be converted to an actual charge.
