The ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet with HumidAir is a whisper-quiet, auto-adjusting CPAP machine that uses an advanced algorithm to respond to your breathing in real time. User-Friendly Sleep Therapy
The AirSense 10 Auto CPAP keeps things simple with all the essentials for smooth sleep apnea treatment. With a focus on comfort and ease of use, the ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet features AutoRamp technology, which delivers a lower pressure on therapy initiation so you can fall asleep faster. When you exhale, EPR delivers a gentle drop in pressure for enhanced comfort and Smart Start takes the hassle out of bedtime by starting and stopping therapy automatically. Simply put the CPAP mask on and start breathing to initiate therapy. When you need to stop therapy, all you need to do is remove the mask. 

The ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet also features an intuitive interface and user-friendly controls paired with a color LCD screen. The screen uses an ambient light sensor to adjust brightness, ensuring neither you nor your bed partner is disturbed by its glow at night.

Heated Humidification and Heated Tube
With a built-in HumidAir Heated Humidifier, the AirSense 10 AutoSet maximizes comfort for a better night’s sleep. The integrated humidifier features 8 settings and works with both the non-heated ResMed SlimLine Tubing and the AirSense 10 ClimateLineAir Heated Tubing.

When the ClimateLineAir Heated Tubing is plugged in, it enables “Climate Control Auto,” an intelligent humidification mode that minimizes the need for multiple humidity level adjustments. It automatically adjusts the humidifier and tube temperature to keep things perfectly balanced at 85% humidity and 80°F. No more cold air or wet masks — just smooth, comfortable breathing all night long.

Remote Data Monitoring & myAir App
With multiple ways to access your sleep data, it's easy to stay on top of therapy with the AirSense 10. An integrated cellular modem transmits therapy information to your provider or to the ResMed myAir app, available on Android and iOS. Simply connect your machine to the app to view your usage hours, mask seal and AHI.

If using an app to track data sounds like too much of a hassle, you can also view sleep data directly on the machine. Alternatively, you can download your data via an SD card and use a third-party computer software to access it.  

Internal and SD Card Data Storage
The AirSense 10 AutoSet can store up to 365 days of summary therapy data in its internal storage. The optional 2GB SD card stores up to 365 days of summary data, 30 days of detailed data and 30 days of high resolution flow.

Cleaning Recommendations

Daily: Empty water in the humidifier chamber and fill with new water.
Weekly: Wash the water chamber, CPAP hose and wipe down machine exterior. 

Device Cleaning
Unplug the AirSense 10 AutoSet and wipe down the exterior of the machine with a damp, clean cloth.

Filter Maintenance
The air filter should be changed every 2 to 6 months. The frequency of replacement depends on the air quality in your house. 

Water Chamber and Hose Cleaning 
Hand wash the water chamber and hose in a basin of warm water with mild soap. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and air dry away from direct sunlight. Hang the tubing with both ends pointing toward the ground while drying.

Do not clean with products containing alcohol, fragrances, antibacterial agents, antiseptics, bleach, chlorine, or moisturizers.

FAQ

How can I track my sleep therapy progress with the AirSense 10 AutoSet?
You can view your sleep data via the myAir app, on the machine itself or you can download the data using an SD card. 

How do I view my sleep data on the AirSense 10 AutoSet?
You can see nightly data on the machine’s home screen each morning and view your therapy report by accessing the Sleep Report menu on the home screen. 

What is the difference between the three types of tubing (ClimateLineAir, SlimLine and standard CPAP tubing) that are available for use with the AirSense 10?
The ClimateLineAir tubing is a heated wire tube that receives feedback from the AirSense 10’s climate control system to optimally regulate temperature and humidity. Both the SlimLine tubing and standard CPAP tubing are non heated. However, ResMed’s SlimLine tubing is 40% lighter and 20% thinner than the standard CPAP tube.

Does the AirSense 10 AutoSet adjust air pressure automatically?
Yes, the AirSense 10 AutoSet is an auto CPAP machine and automatically adjusts pressure within the set pressure range when it is in AutoSet mode. The AirSense 10 AutoSet also has a standard CPAP mode.

Can I take the AirSense 10 AutoSet on a plane?
Yes, the AirSense 10 AutoSet is FAA-approved. The machine does not count towards your carry-on luggage limit because it is a medical device. Airlines have different regulations regarding in-flight CPAP use so please make sure you are familiar with your airline’s on-board CPAP use policy before traveling. 

Does the AirSense 10 ClimateLineAir Heated Tubing work with any ResMed machine?
No, the AirSense 10 ClimateLineAir heated tubing only works with ResMed AirSense 10/AirCurve 10 models. It is not compatible with the newest ResMed AirSense 11 or the older S9 models.

I had a ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet that I had acquired through my insurance last year, but had to return it due to hidden costs and fees. I loved the machine, but at the time I couldn't afford what my insurance was charging me for it.

A year later, and after using a loaner CPAP from a family member of mine, I found this website selling this for far cheaper than my insurance was charging me for, and with way more affordable payments.

Unlike the other Reviews I've seen I have had no issues with my ResMed CPAP. It's quiet, and I have customized the settings myself so that I get the best sleep for myself from my device. I didn't even have to worry about getting my prescription from my sleep doctor to get this unit.

Just FYI, this does not come with the ResMed SD Card. You will still be able to use this device and the myAir app without the SD Card; however, the data collection for the app is a lot slower without it, and you won't be able to share the data with your sleep doctor if you need to. The SD Card is sold on this site separately (and cheaply), and I will be buying the SD Card and I recommend buying the card as well.

I also recommend getting the Climateline Heated Tubing as well as that will significantly help your sleep as it helps with the humidification and reduces symptoms of nasal irritation and dry mouth.

I bought/received this machine 2 years ago in March 2016 through my insurance provider. While the machine worked well for two years, it stopped working two days ago. The manufacture's technical line is for distributors only, so if you are a patient/user, you're told to call your insurance company or service provider. I also searched the internet for issues similar to mine to see if there was a fix and noted a number of blog posting with the same issue and no fix. You will need a Dr's prescription to get the machine repaired. Therefore, not only it is unacceptable that the thing broke after two years and there's no technical support, it is a hassle to get the machine fixed or repaired.

i really like this machine the way it looks like you cannot notice that this is a typical cpap machine on your room, the climateline tube are the same as the S9 but it rotates at the back of the machine, the back light is so nice its automatically adjust screen brightness.

But to cleared this Airsence 10, the customer service told me that this is not the S10 series that i confused before, S9 series is still existing and they will not discontinued it, Resmed manufacturer just release their Air Series, like the Airfit mask,
which the lightest model of their mask then now adopting from the airsence 10 machine.

Nice Innovation...

I have been using the ResMed AirSense 10 Auto set fot at least 3 months now after upgrading from the S9 Elite. What I've noticed is the slightly quieter machine...... I can barely hear it. And the ease of loading and unloading the water chamber for the humidifier. To make it short, I just love this machine. The only thing that I can say negatively about this new model is the carrying case/bag. There is no room to put your mask in when you travel and need to take your S10 with you. I wish the manufacture would provide a bigger carrying case with room to put your cpap mask in. The S9 carrying bag definitely has this feature.

This machine is inconsistently manufactured and defectively designed. I've had three of them before giving up on this model and each has varied widely in the amount of air noise. One was very loud, and another had a high-pitched mechanical whine when I exhaled. All of them had problems with the seal to the water chamber breaking during the night, resulting in a wheezing noise that would wake me from sleep and require me to turn off the machine and jiggle the chamber to re-establish the seal. If you are looking for a good night's sleep, avoid this machine like the plague.

I purchased the s10 after many happy years with an s8.In many ways a fine machine but I find the humidifier tank removal and insertion very bad indeed. The tank gets stuck both with removal and insertion, the squeeze click thing simply does not have enough play to effectively unlock the tank which doesn't slide out easily. I can only imagine what it must be like for elderly and/or arthritic patients. I occasionally use it without a tank when travelling and replace the tank with the cover plate, the latching of that plate works fine , it needs to translate to the tank.

Have had nothing but issues with this machine. Brand new unit in January 2018, very noisy, turns out there is something internally wrong causing an air leak. Off it goes for warranty service. Provider gave me a loaner while my unit is being serviced, which after 1 night gives me an error that the heating unit isn't working. Can't help but think there are quality control issues with these units. Great unit when it works properly.

I am really enjoying my Airsense 10, I purchased this over 6 months ago and i really love how quiet it is, the humidifier is really easy to fill up, the machine also does not take up much space. Overall i find this machine very user friendly and i am impressed with the features it comes with. I would recommend this machine.

I bought my machine a year ago from cpapman and I LOVE IT! No problems at all, this machine is super quiet and I love how it stops when I take my mask off in the middle of the night. My wife likes it much better than the old heavy machine I had before because this one is quiet. Comes with a nice carry case for travel too.

Like the one reviewer stated , this machine is noisie . When you breathethis machine whisise with you. I returned mine & was talked into another Resmed 10. Well quess what ...the same problems. I'll give it another couple weeks . But my hopes arenot high.

I've had my machine since 2017 and it's worked flawlessly! I love the auto pressure and the heated tubing! Finally got a notification that the motor hours have been exceeded, yet it is still working great. I will order a new one as soon as I get the money since Covered California doesn't cover equipment costs.

I inherited Airsense 10 Auto from a friend July 2016. After two years, it is still so quiet. I never use humidifier as keeping clean of germs causes me concern. I use N20 nasal mask now, but have used pillow type too. I shut off EPR as I like constant pressure. I set for one day only for accurate infirmation.

Be careful what you buy. The "autosense" feature is crap. Used it for 15 minutes. It's going back. Very disappointing.

Question How do I change the pressure setting? My prescription is for 10 but my new machine seems to be preset to 4 and I don't see how to change it.

Your machine is an Auto so it starts at 4 and goes up to 20 as you need it. If 4 is too low, you can find videos on Youtube as to how to change the pressure

Question I just purchased this machine and I am currently turning it on and off manually by pushing the button on the top. I would like to know how I can have the machine start automatically and turn off once I remove the mask.

I can certainly assist you with that. You will need access your clincal menu. To do so: You are going to simultaneously. Press the dial button. And home button at the same time until we see a menu pop up for my settings. Using the dial access your clinical settings and scroll down till you see Smart start (on/off). Use your dial to click into the setting, turn the dial till you see on and push the dial to accept. Once done scroll back up and exit clinical menu.

The built in cellular ability of the Airsense 10 Autoset will automatically update information onto the app MyAir. You can also use a data card to collect data and take to your sleep doctor for a download.

Question My CPAP script from 2008 calls for 11.0cm H2O w/c-flex and heated humidity and was issued "PRN" (as needed refill).

My Phillips System One machine is subject to the recall so I am looking for a replacement until it is repaired/replaced.

Is this script acceptable for this machine since it is an "auto" pressure machine?
Is this script acceptable based on it's age?
