Take the stress out of medication time with this adorable kid-friendly compressor nebulizer from Drive Medical. This beagle-shaped nebulizer comes with a disposable nebulizer kit, mouthpiece and child mask so your little one can start treatment right away.

Features

  • Fun design encourages cooperation
  • Powerful yet quiet piston compressor
  • Includes disposable nebulizer kit, mouthpiece, child mask & extra filters
  • Doggy House backpack for easy storage and on-the-go therapy
  • Delivers super-fine mist for optimal medication absorption

Effective & Fun
The piston compressor creates a fine mist of medication (0.5-10 microns) that travels deep into the lungs for more efficient therapy. Cleverly located on/off button and air outlet on the back of the beagle keeps treatment fun for kids while remaining functional for parents.

Quiet Treatment
The Beagle Compressor Nebulizer runs as quietly as normal conversation (less than 60 dBA), so medication time won't startle your child.

FAQ

How often should I replace the filter for the Beagle Compressor Nebulizer?
The Beagle Compressor Nebulizer's filter lasts 6 months under normal use. For optimal compressor performance, replace the filter sooner if it becomes discolored.

How do I clean the Beagle Compressor Nebulizer?
Wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth every few days, making sure the compressor is off and unplugged first.

Is the Beagle Pediatric Compressor Nebulizer portable?
The Beagle Pediatric Compressor Nebulizer comes with a carrying case/backpack for easy transportation. However, the unit needs to be plugged into an AC outlet for operation.

Do I need to clean the included disposable nebulizer kit?
The disposable nebulizer kit should be cleaned after each treatment to prevent breathing in bacteria which can lead to lung infections. To avoid any treatment gaps while your nebulizer dries, it's a good idea to keep an extra one on hand.

  1. Turn off and unplug the nebulizer compressor.
  2. Detach the nebulizer tubing from the compressor.
  3. Separate the mouthpiece or mask from the nebulizer cap. Then, unscrew the cap from the medication cup and remove the baffle.
  4. Wash all the nebulizer parts (except the tubing) with warm water and mild dish soap.
  5. Rinse all parts under hot tap water.
  6. Let the nebulizer parts air dry completely before reassembly.

Do I need to disinfect the disposable nebulizer?
Disinfecting your disposable nebulizer daily adds an extra layer of protection against germs.

  1. Disassemble the nebulizer, separating the tubing from everything else.
  2. Mix 3 parts hot water with 1 part white vinegar. Soak all the parts (except the tubing) in this solution for 30 minutes. If you prefer to use a bacterial-germicidal disinfectant solution, make sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully.
  3. Use clean hands to remove the parts and rinse them thoroughly under hot tap water.
  4. Let all the parts air dry completely on a clean towel.
  5. Once everything is dry, store the nebulizer in a clean, sealed bag.

How often do I need to replace the disposable nebulizer?
Disposable nebulizers should be replaced every two weeks for optimal hygiene.
