The Z1 Auto Travel Machine by Human Design Medical
Weighing less than a single pound and measuring just six and one half inches, the Z1 Auto Travel CPAP Machine by Human Design Medical (HDM) is truly an ideal travel device. This compact, lightweight automatic CPAP machine contains special pressure relief technology, advanced comfort and some great performance features. Though it does not include an integrated humidifier, this machine does have superior data management capabilities as well as multiple operational modes.
Advanced Pressure Relief Technology
The Z1 Auto comes with special Z-Breathe pressure relief technology. This function works to reduce pressure upon exhalation; this will increase patient comfort and help patients better adjust to the nature of CPAP therapy. The Z1-Breathe pressure relief has three different settings and so patients can customize and optimize their experience.
Auto Altitude Adjusting
The Z1 Auto CPAP device is equipped with an adjustment feature which will automatically compensate for changes in altitude. This feature works up to 8,000 feet above sea level. It is truly the perfect device for those who find themselves traveling to different areas requiring different adjustments on the fly.
Every now and then, patients experience mask leaks. Fortunately, the Z1 auto CPAP device is able to detect slight leaks in your mask and make pressure adjustments automatically to ensure that your required pressure needs are satisfied. If patients experience excessive leaks the screen of the Z1 machine will display the word "REMINDER" in bold lettering. This word will disappear as soon as the leak is corrected.
Nitelog iPhone Application
Nitelog is a useful application which enables patients to compile and store therapy data either on their iPhone or iPad device. The Nitelog app comes with an inbuilt Bluetooth chip which is designed to connect wirelessly to your mobile gadget. Once connected and installed, patients will be able to store up to thirty days of therapy information and also email or screen shot their data directly to their physician from their phone. Moreover, the Nitelog app also allows patients to adjust settings on their Z1 machine - such as Z-Breathe, Ramp and others - remotely from their mobile device.
Emitting just 26 dBA sound level during operation, the Z1 Auto travel machine is literally whisper quiet and will not create any disturbances for either you or your bed partner. In many cases, travel CPAP machines are noisier than stationary machines because of their limited size and technology; the Z1 auto device overcomes this trend with its unique design and structure.
Ramp is an optional feature which enables patients to temporarily delay the onset of pressure for up to forty-five minutes. Delaying the onset of pressure in this manner often allows patients to fall asleep more naturally and with a higher degree of comfort. Patients can choose to delay the pressure from zero to forty-five minutes in five-minute increments and can be shut off completely if patients prefer to have full pressure from the get-go.
Optional Integrated Battery
The Z1 Auto travel CPAP machine can be paired with a portable battery which is able to provide power independently of any physical power outlet. This machine does not include the battery but patients have the option to purchase it separately. Patients can also purchase the PowerShell sleeve: the PowerShell will protect your battery and also hold it close to your Z1 device. The portable battery and sleeve are perfect items for patients for travel frequently or who would prefer to have an independent energy source in the case of an emergency.
