ActiveCell Technology
A huge concern for sleep apnea patients is maintaining an effective - i.e. leak-free - seal while moving around during sleep. The ResMed Mirage Activa addresses this need specifically with its special ActiveCell technology. It adjusts naturally to the different positions taken by active sleepers throughout their slumber. This prevents patients from having to over-tighten their mask, thereby eliminating harmful pressure points and reducing discomfort.
Smart Design
In addition to being the perfect mask for active sleepers, the Mirage CPAP mask is packed full of neat features and attractive perks. The cushion is fitted with a removable cushion clip which allows it to be detached for cleaning purposes quickly and easily. The forehead pads are soft and flexible and are designed to conform to the unique contours of your face. The forehead support is adjustable and can be placed in four different positions so as to maximize comfort and stability. This mask seals nicely to your face and so far the seal doesn't show signs of breaking when you move your head around at night. The exhaust vent is extremely quiet. Not quite silent where its stealthy but not bad at all. definitely much better than most other masks I've tried.
The only problem is that in order for the bellows membrane to seal to your face properly, it must not be dirty. You need to take the bellow part off at least every other night to wash using a cleanser mild dish washing detergent.
nothing to say about this mask but i will stay and buy the same mask if i needed.
