The Wisp Nasal CPAP Mask with Headgear manufactured by Philips Respironics is a top-notch piece of equipment with an excellent background of providing stellar results.

Wisp CPAP Nasal Mask – Phillips Respironics

The Wisp Nasal Mask with headgear is taking CPAP comfort to the next level. This mask attaches easily to the face and is designed to be worn loosely. This means you will be more comfortable without sacrificing any of the performance of your CPAP mask. What’s more, the Wisp nasal CPAP Mask does not have a forehead attachment, making it a great option for users who like to watch TV or read before falling asleep.

Multiple Frame Options

The Respironics Wisp Nasal CPAP Mask frame comes with two great frame options. Select from the clear silicone frame, or a reversible frame that has both a silky and a soft side, designed to meet the personal needs of each individual user.

Diverse cushion sizing

Say goodbye to “one size fits all” CPAP masks that never give you the perfect fit you need. The Wisp Mask allows you to choose between three cushion sizes, giving you a custom fit that will greatly enhance your comfort. The cushion itself is a lightweight, small nose piece, available in sizes small/medium, large, and extra-large. The Respironics Wisp Mask is packaged with all three cushions, allowing you to choose the best fit for you. Even if you have used a nasal pillow in the past with no success, the Wisp CPAP mask is a much more modern alternative and is worth trying.

Improved design for minimal interference

A majority of CPAP masks come with a bulky forehead support feature that obstructs your field of view and makes it difficult to get comfortable. The Wisp has no such forehead support, and instead wraps around the side of your face, sitting both above and below the ears for added support and comfort. This streamlined design means you have a clear field of vision which allows you to watch TV or read more easily without an unobstructed view, and quickly find a comfortable sleeping position to relax into. To give extra stability during the night, the Wisp mask comes with a strap that goes across the top of your head, as well as magnetic clips for the headgear.

Easy cleaning

Thanks to a lightweight flexible short tube that is easily disconnected, cleaning the Wisp Mask has never been easier. The Wisp CPAP mask comes packaged with the tube you need for quick, easy, and effective cleaning.

  2. Out of the three cushion sizes, is there a “standard” size that works for most people? Yes, the small/medium cushion size is the size used by most people. The Wisp Nasal CPAP Mask by Philips Respironics is an excellent option for anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable mask. One of the most popular nasal CPAP face masks on the market, the Wisp features a unique design that makes it easy to use and adjust throughout the night.

One of the standout features of the Wisp is its headgear, which fits securely on the lower part of the back of your head without requiring any adjustment. This means that you won't have to worry about the mask slipping or sliding during the night, providing you with a peaceful and restful sleep.

Another great feature of the Wisp is the variety of cushion sizing options available, including Small/Medium, Large, and X-Large. The Wisp also offers a petite cushion size option, which is available as a separate add-on product. With the right cushion size, you can achieve optimal comfort and a secure fit that helps to ensure effective sleep therapy.

The Wisp features a simple frame and cushion design, which minimizes contact with your face while providing a great seal for added comfort. The cushions are made from lightweight silicone and come in three different sizes or a fit pack option, allowing you to choose the one that works best for your unique needs.

Another great feature of the Wisp is the flexible short tube, which allows you to move freely throughout the night and achieve the sleep position that is most comfortable for you. If you need to get up in the middle of the night, you can quickly disconnect the entire tube from the mask without having to remove the entire mask, which saves you time and hassle.

Overall, the Wisp Nasal CPAP Mask is a well-designed and comfortable option that offers a secure fit and clear line of vision. Whether you're a light sleeper, have a petite facial structure, or prefer to breathe through your nose, the Wisp is a great choice that provides lasting comfort and effective sleep therapy.

I finally found a mask that doesn't leak. I run fairly high pressure (15) with a standard CPAP blower. This mask will stay sealed against my nose even during hard exhales. It's comfortable; the soft flex hose that comes with it keeps the heavier hose from misaligning the mask when I move. Where was this mask 20 years ago? Now I don't wake up with eye crud because the mask leaked into my eyes.

I have to give it up to Philips for making a good nasal mask without the use of a forehead support. It is a great mask and you can definitely sleep in any position with this mask. They just need one minor improvement on this mask which I think is making the fabric frame more durable because I wasn't a big fan of the clear frame leaving on my cheek as I woke up.

This mask is the best for me. The fabric frame is so soft and comfortable to sleep with. I'm not sure about the silicon frame but I think I am going to stick with the fabric. Anyhow, it's easy to put on, you can remove the clips if you don't like it and putting the tube on is so easy! Great mask, thank you lisa for suggesting this to me

Really like this mask. The thing is just that my daughter says that I look like a mouse while wearing this. It's really comfortable tho, plus the fabric really soothes me and my face as I slumber. The cushion is soft, the frame is soft, ergo a perfect sleep.

This product is enclosed with a mask of 3 sizes, so you can choose what fits yourself.
This mask has a good feeling of wearing, and I do not mind sleeping.
Sleepy Head figures were average for 6 days and AHI was 2.36.

Having been on a CPAP for over a decade (it changed my life) I've tried many masks, and this is my favorite. I love that the clip has been changed to two pieces, with a magnetic closure. Makes life easier!!

Service was good. Transit time to delivery in Japan was as advised. Unit worked well.
I will purchase again in the near future.

The frame for this mask is seriously not user friendly. My head is not larger than a normal adult head, my ears and nose are in the usual place yet this mask, with the top straps fully extended pulls the mask up to the point that is very uncomfortable under my nose and ears. There is no ability to adjust the mask any lower on my face.
I ordered it because I prefer the tubing to go over my head rather than hang off the end of my nose but there was not a lot of thought given to that feature either. The quick disconnect is useless if you have the short tubing connected to the top of the frame. If you get up in the night, you have to disconnect from the main tubing to disconnect from the cpap machine.
I would like to see mask designers give less thought to gimmicks and more thought to function. I wish there was a version of the old Swift LT with a nasal cushion because that was possibly one of the best masks for staying in place for the night with almost infinite adjustments. The problem with that was of course the dryness associated with nasal pillows.
The search goes on.

New time customer new time experience. This mask looks like it will fit on you funny but it actually feels nice. It allows you the flexibility to move around in bed and have it not come off during sleep. My only true complaint is that this mask frame is a bit cheap? or flimsy. I was in luck and manage to have both the clear and plastic frame for this mask and between the two of them I feel the plastic is more sturdier but leaves some marks on your face while the fabric is more comfy but is less sturdier.
Overall I'm happy with everything just wish they would fix the frame or change the material.

Question Am I the only one to experience a change of sizing in the cushions for the Wisp mask? I found that the new size “L” cushion I received is narrower than the old “L” one I wanted to replace, it made the walls of my nose felt pushed in, impeding air flow; and after about 20 minutes, actually my nose became painful from the pressure, I had to remove this new cushion and put the old one back... Looking at both cushions critically, I see that the new cushion is visibly, a bit less deep, and a bit narrower from left to right, it is a bit smaller in every way. Also the ridge crevice on both sides near the top, is deeper and feels more rigid.
I’m very afraid this is a sytem-wide production change, and not a fluke...?
The "XL" size is so much larger than the "L", that if the new reduced “L” size is now the norm, I’m in a real trouble...!
Hi there, on the drop down menu for the cushions there is an XL option. It used to be that the L/XL was one size. It sounds like you will need to go to XL. You can find it here:
