Move Freely, Sleep Soundly
The AirFit F40's short, flexible tubing allows for greater range of motion while you sleep. This design provides more slack in the tubing, offering greater comfort in any position. The short tubing connects to the mask frame via a quick-release elbow so you can easily connect and disconnect from your CPAP or BiPAP machine during the night.

Located inside the F40 cushion is the QuietAir™ vent ring, which disperses air away from you and your bed partner for a peaceful night’s sleep. This vent ring is also removable for easy cleaning.

FAQ

What machines are compatible with the ResMed AirFit F40? 
The AirFit F40 Full Face Mask is compatible with all CPAP and BiPAP machines with the exception of the ResMed AirMini Travel CPAP. If using the F40 mask with a ResMed machine, please select “Pillows” in the mask setting option. 

How do I find the size of my AirFit F40 headgear?
The size (small, standard, or large) is conveniently located on the back of the headgear's colored neck pad. First-time F40 users should start with the standard size and size up or down as needed. 

How do I find the size of my AirFit F40 cushion?
The cushion size (SW, M or L) can be found on the bottom right side of the cushion. To find your best-fitting F40 cushion size, use the AirFit F40 Fitting Template. 

1. Stand in front of a mirror and hold the template under your nose.
2. Align your nose with the blue Medium box on the template. If your entire nose fits within the blue box, choose medium as your F40 cushion size. 
3. If your nose does not fit within the blue box, align your nose with the purple Small-Wide and gray Large boxes.
4. Select the cushion size that allows your entire nose to fit comfortably inside. If your nose fits into multiple boxes, choose the size that best accommodates your nose width.

How do I clean my AirFit F40 Full Face Mask? 
Daily Cleaning (Cushion, Vent Ring, Tubing & Elbow)
Weekly Cleaning (Headgear & Frame)

1. Disassemble the mask — refer to the user guide for detailed instructions.
2. Fill a basin with warm water and add a mild soap solution. Submerge the cushion, vent ring, short tubing, and elbow for cleaning.
3. Gently shake the parts in the water and use a soft-bristled brush to clean the vent ring holes thoroughly.
4. Rinse all components thoroughly under running water. Air dry the components away from direct sunlight.
