The SleepWeaver Advance mask comes with easy-fitting headgear, five color options, and a plethora of features that add convenience and comfort to your therapy.

SleepWeaver Advance Cloth Nasal Mask - Circadiance

The SleepWeaver Advance nasal mask is constructed entirely out of non-allergenic fabric. Using Circadiance’s trademarked Zzzephyr seal, the cloth nasal cushion puffs up like a balloon around the nose. This plastic-free mask offers a hopeful alternative to CPAP therapy for people with sensitive skin or pressure point sensitivity. The headgear is meant to be worn loose, with its straps wrapping under the ears and behind the neck. Vision is mostly unobstructed, with just a thin string coming between the eyes. A flexible hose with a swivel connection lets users move about during sleep without losing the seal on the cloth mask.

Features

  • Silicone free and hypo-allergenic
  • Open face design
  • Loose fit and pinch-free

Like sleeping on a cloud

The elastic material in the cushion of the SleepWeaver Advance expands around the nose with a cloud of air once the CPAP machine is turned on. The cushion molds to the user’s face, providing a customized fit. The material is like that used in rain gear and readily wicks away heat and water vapor. Angled air vent holes located at the bottom of the cushion quietly vent air away from the user and bed partner.

Minimal contact at facial pressure points

The headgear on the SleepWeaver Advance is intended to be worn loose, so there are no pinching or sore spots to contend with. Three-point headgear stretches below the ears and along the back of the neck. A string-like strap extends from the top of the cushion and crosses the center of the forehead, then widens as it passes over the head and connects to the neck strap. Users can comfortably wear glasses, watch TV or read. Facial hair, dentures, or a deviated septum are not barriers to a good fit and a good night’s sleep with the SleepWeaver Advance. CPAP users who suffer from chronic migraines have found the pressure point-free fitting of the SleepWeaver Advance to be a game-changer in their CPAP use.

Simple, elegant, and colorful

The mask only has three components: the cushion, the headgear, and a featherweight tube that allows the user to move into any desired sleep position without dragging on the cushion or interrupting the seal. The compressible nasal cushion permits side sleeping and stomach sleeping without a loss in CPAP performance. The SleepWeaver Advance comes in a selection of five colors (blue, leopard, camo, pink, and beige) for a touch of added personalization.

Sizing and fitting

Size selection

Selecting the right size is critical to your comfort and satisfaction with any sleep apnea mask, but the SleepWeaver Advance makes size selection quite simple as one size fits most. For users with slightly smaller facial features than most, a small version is also available. A sizing guide for the SleepWeaver Advance Standard and SleepWeaver Advance Small is available here.

Fitting

  • The headgear should be loose enough to slip a finger underneath it easily.
  • Pull the headgear over the head and then position the cushion low on the nose.
  • The head strap pulls the mask toward the nose.
  • The neck straps pull the mask toward the upper lip.

Leak adjustments

  1. Pinch the mask directly over the nose, pull it slightly away from the face and down (in the direction of the feet), then gently release it. This action allows the elastic cushion to re-inflate and float back into place.
  2. Adjust the head strap for leaks into your eyes.
  3. Adjust the neck straps for side leaks.

If steps 1-3 do not work, loosen the straps and start over with step 1.

Care of the mask

Recommended cleaning frequency

  • Daily: mask cushion, swivel, and flexible tubing
  • Weekly: headgear

Cleaning process

  1. Wash in warm soapy water using a mild non-abrasive detergent soap.
  2. Rinse in clean water.
  3. All parts should be air-dried out of direct sunlight.

Important: Do not clean with products containing alcohol, scents, antibacterial agents, antiseptics, bleach, chlorine, or moisturizers. Do not dry in a clothes dryer.

FAQ

How long will it take me to get used to a cloth mask like the SleepWeaver Advance?
Many users are comfortable on the first night, but any CPAP equipment can take a little longer to adjust to. Circadiance has some beneficial videos with useful tips for a good outcome with the SleepWeaver Advance. You can check those videos out here: Circadiance FitTip Videos.

I have a full beard. Will I be able to get a good enough seal with the SleepWeaver Advance?
Yes, absolutely. The cushion will conform to your face and seal around the beard. In fact, the inventor has a beard and wears the mask nightly.

Do I have to have a special machine for the SleepWeaver Advance to work correctly?
Nope. The SleepWeaver Advance works with all CPAP, BIPAP, and Auto-PAP machines.

I have been through 3 nasal masks and this is by far the best of them all. It does take a little fiddling to get it sealed but once you learn the trick (which isn't that hard, just watch the video that it comes with or on line) it is so easy. Requires less cleaning than silicone and doesn't rub the skin under your nose raw. I am a stomach sleeper and this mask can assume any position. How innovative and they are not expensive. I would have given up if I had not come across this mask.

I am sold on these as being the most comfortable mask to use. When I first got one, I thought it was a joke, but now I would not go back to any other mask.
These masks travel nicely and wash up nicely and can be used time after time again.

Once you have tried them all, you will find cloth the best of all.

It's a good mask but there's leak on the side. I might have gotten a defective product or I think all of it is just not good. It is easy to fit and easy to put on but I hope they fix the leak on this thing.

Nice cloth mask. Cloth is super comfortable and light. It does take a little work to get it to seal but the comfort is worth it IMHO.
