Philips Heated Micro-Flexible Tubing for DreamStation 1 & 2
The Philips Respironics Micro-Flexible Heated Tubing is compatible with the DreamStation and DreamStation 2 CPAP and BiPAP machines. This CPAP tube is the lightest and most flexible tubing ever made by Philips at only 12mm in diameter.
The ultralight Micro-Flexible Tubing allows you to sleep in any position without having to worry about mask drag, or heavy tubing sitting on your body. The tubing is equipped with a secure-click mechanism at the machine end so the tubing is exceptionally secure; but easy to attach and detach as well. The heated tubing keeps a constant and steady temperature from your humidifier to your airway and thus reduces the chance of rainout or excess condensation in your CPAP tubing.
This tubing does not fit to Philips DreamStation Go.
Mask Compatibility
At the mask end of this Heated Tubing is a PR12 Mask Adapter which makes the tubing compatible with any standard CPAP mask from any manufacturer.
If you use Philips DreamWear Nasal Mask or DreamWear Full Face Mask, you can remove the quick-release connector from the mask and the standard mask adapter from your Micro-Flexible Tubing and the mask will click directly onto the tube. It's a great way to create an almost seamless connection between your mask and machine.
Note: Please be sure to select the "12MM" tubing option on your DreamStation 2 user operation menu when using Micro-Flex Tubing to ensure proper sleep therapy pressure delivery.
