Dreamwear CPAP Nasal Mask by Lorraine Urquhart Date Added: Wednesday 17 January, 2018
Dreamwear CPAP Nasal Mask
I thought I was the only one who saw such a huge difference between small and medium sizing. I had the same problem with the nasal mask with the gel pillows. The sizing was more like large than medium. I can make do with the small but what would really work for an otherwise great mask would be a medium size that was truly medium.

Disposable S9/AirSense/AirStart/AirCurve 10 CPAP Filters
CPAP's need filters, and users need to replace the filters regularly. They get black and ugly. This is a handy packet of filters. They are easy to install and they work. That's all you can ask of a CPAP filter.

Good value as they are washable keep the big stuff away from the fine filters to make them last longer

Very good filters. They must work well as they are very dirty when changed.

Chinstrap, Deluxe
When I went to pick this up, the gal referred to it as "an Ace bandage for the head." I tried it once and tossed it in a drawer. Absurd.

Hans Rudolph Quest CPAP Mask with Headgear by Virginia Shemeliuk Date Added: Thursday 21 December, 2017
Hans Rudolph Quest CPAP Mask with Headgear
I just bought a Quest X-S based on all the positive reviews elsewhere but unfortunately this mask is a waste of money even though it is made from quality materials. #1) There is supposed to be a "soft gel" against your face/nose. #2) My CPAP machine indicates that the mask is NOT sealing properly no matter what adjustments I make. In addition, the silicon flange against the face is less-than-flexible & dug into my cheek so much that it scraped the skin raw. #3) The side clips are extremely difficult for someone with arthritis to manage & #4) the clip to detach the hose is so extremely difficult to detach to the point that I was worrying I would break the plastic. One positive is that the velcro on the straps is nicely streamlined although somewhat difficult to detach. #5) The fitting process is NOT as simple as the company said. I found it difficult to get the top part of the head strap properly centred. It kept slipping towards the front & almost came off at one point over my forehead. #6) air kept blowing into my eyes no matter how I tried to adjust around the nose. Unfortunately, this is a "buyer beware" item - it has many excellent ratings but even though I fitted it properly (I mean, HOW exactly could you misread an exact middle of the extra-small part of the guide??!!) I cannot get it to seal properly. Respshop where I bought it suggested liners but for the price & the hype given this full face mask, I shouldn't have to invest even more $$$$ to try & get it to seal properly!
