Medili Medical is the manufacturer of the popular Lithium Ion Battery. The blue battery, as it is informally known, allows CPAP users to take their therapy on the road. The battery can provide users with up to 20 hours of continuous CPAP use, which is great for patients who like camping or visiting places without access to a wall outlet. The battery is compatible with most machines from Respironics, ResMed, and DeVilbiss. Patients should keep in mind that operating the machine at a high pressure will drain the battery faster than if it is being used at a lower pressure. Similarly, a heated humidifier will put undue strain on the battery as well.
