Setting Up the AirSense 10 CPAP Machine by ResMed
I was in need of an elbow to allow connection of air tubing to my new ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet with HumidAir to be to either side of the the machine. The image looked somewhat strange, but it was listed as an "AIR OUTLET ADAPTER FOR AIRSENSE/AIRCURVE/AIRSTART CPAPS", so I ordered it.
Once I received it, I could see there was no way this was going to accomplish what I was trying to do. Some time later, after talking to the folks at CPAPman.com, I learned that this was a replacement part that directs the flow of air from the humidifier to the outside of the machine, which you connect your hose to.
What I really needed, and eventually found, was ResMed part number 37394 which is identified as "ResMed Tubing Elbow (for Plastic Tubing)". This component is also sold by CPAPman.com [https://www.cpapman.com/cpap-machines/accessories/resmed-tubing-elbow-for-plastic-tubing-p-1707.html]
It is unclear how I managed not to find it in my search. My bad!
