This product uses IR temperature sensing of the forehead to measure human body temperature. The measuring distance between the thermometer and the forehead is 1-2 inches. The non-contact forehead thermometer is safe and hygiene to use. It is way more convenient than standard mercury thermometer or invasive thermometer like rectal, oral, ear, or armpit thermometers.
