A very nice compact machine that I have been using for about 4 years without major issues.
We travel extensively and will stay in Europe for as long as 2 months at a time. Despite the compact size, and lack of a water chamber, these little machines do not cause irritation or particular nasal issues. The Z 1 air flow can be adjusted easily by watching a few U Tube tutorials if needed.
Using only plug adapters it automatically converts to the 220 voltage in Europe or 210 England. All you need are 'plug ends', the built-in regulator will drop the power and not damage the unit.
With outlets provided in most Business Class flights there is no need to have a battery pack.
I have dropped mine from the night stands etc. and it is tough enough to not be affected.
They do have one weak point which I understand is resolved in the new Z 2. That is the gasket where you insert the breathing tube into the core of the device. It is now made of a better more resilient form of silicone. If the gasket in the Z 1 tears or leaks as mine does, it is an extensive repair procedure since it goes deep into the unit. HDM said, "Ship your unit to Boston, pay for shipping etc. and $50" for the fix. That being said, if you are buying new, buy the Z 2 instead and save the hassle. The difference in price is minimal.

I said I was gonna write a review about this machine after two months and here I am now. At first, surprised at how small this machine really is. It's like a slightly big deodorant. There might be some bugs in the future because I read some forums about this machine on the internet but for me it's working perfectly fine and it's already been two months. Other machines failed for me after a month! This machine goes really well with the moisture exchanger that I bought it with. Perfect combo, will buy again from you because of the pleasant customer service.

I have a big cpap machine at home that i have been using for a couple of years now. I have decided that it's time that I buy a new and smaller one. Lisa helped me out with choosing this z1 travel machine and I must say that it's pretty neat. I didn't know that they have cpap machines this small now! And she said it's the smalles cpap out there so I'm glad I bought this great machine and I've been using it for a couple of weeks now. Last weekend, we went camping and boy did it make things really easy for me. Thank you!

Answer
Hi Patricia, the HDM Z1 has actually been discontinued, so we do not have a price available for that item. The New Z2 is the newer version of the device which is currently on the market. You can view the device and cost here: https://www.cpapman.com/cpap-machines/auto/hdm-auto-travel-cpap-p-1788.html
