AirCurve 10 VAuto with Integrated HumidAir - Card-to-Cloud Version (no cellular)

Top-Notch VPAP with Cutting-Edge Features
The AirCurve 10 VAuto Machine with HumidAir System by ResMed is a technologically sophisticated VPAP device capable of delivering exceptional results with minimal discomfort. With its numerous performance and comfort-enhancing features, the AirCurve 10 is built specifically to address the users' complex sleep apnea needs. This ResMed AirCurve 10 VAuto machine is an ideal option for patients who need greater than normal pressure support in order to create an effective therapy session. The AirCurve 10 has the capability to respond to specific pressure requirements of individual patients and provide a personalized therapeutic experience.

Card-to-Cloud Data Sharing

Simply have the data read using the included SD card to seamlessly record your sleep data and compliance reports and then you can share that data with your healthcare professionals!

Operational Modes
The AirCurve 10 has three operational modes - CPAP, bi-level, and spontaneous (S). When using the bi-level mode, the AirCurve has the ability to recognize your particular breathing pattern and make adjustments automatically in order to provide ideal pressure levels throughout therapy. Patients also have access to the spontaneous (S) mode, which is functionally different that allows the user to exercise more control by setting minimum and maximum time limits during Spontaneous respiration. Finally, the AirCurve 10 VAuto offers a CPAP mode so patients can have access to conventional CPAP therapy.

Easy-Breathe Waveform Technology with EPR
Easy-Breathe waveform technology enables patients to have extremely detailed personalized therapy. Easy-Breathe waveform is able to detect your specific needs as determined by your individual breathing effort during sleep; this distinguishes the waveform for the AirCurve 10 from other waveform technologies which typically mimic patient flow shape. It also possesses expiratory pressure relief (EPR) which is designed to lower pressure levels upon exhalation and then elevate them back to normal during inhalation so as to provide consistent relief.

Auto Start/Stop
The AirCurve 10 boasts SmartStart and SmartStop functions which simplify the process of turning your machine on and off. With SmartStart, your machine will begin functioning at the precise moment you breathe into your mask; and with SmartStop your AirCurve device will cease function the second you remove your mask. These automatic start/stop functions make it easier for patients to operate their devices and also help conserve power.

Ramp Function
The ramp function for the AirCurve 10 ResMed VPAP Auto enables patients to fall asleep more naturally without interference from the artificial pressure levels of therapy. With the ramp function patients can delay the onset of pressure for up to 45 minutes; this provides a window of time for patients to fall asleep before they take awareness of the pressure generated by the machine. Patients can manipulate this function so that pressure starts sometime between 5 and 45 minutes depending on their preference. This is ideal for patients who are just getting acquainted with the pressure demands of therapy.

Vsync Leak Management and TiControl
Vsync is a complex algorithm that helps monitor your breathing behavior and maintain desirable pressure levels during therapy. It is able to recognize occurrences of unintentional mask leakage and then compensate for such occurrences; hence, Vsync is an excellent means to provide better patient-ventilator synchrony and ensure stable pressure throughout therapy. This algorithm works in tandem with TiControl which is a special mechanism that allows patients to artificially create time limits around their spontaneous flow cycling; creating such limits enables patients to more effectively address problems that may arise such as inefficient breathing. Note: This machine DOES NOT have the ability to provide air on a timed basis. It is NOT a VPAP ST device and DOES NOT utilize a backup rate setting.

Pressure Range
The AirCurve 10 has a pressure range of 3-25cm H2O. This range is wider than conventional CPAP machines and gives patients access to higher pressure levels that may be needed. Higher pressure levels are typically required to treat complex cases of sleep apnea that a standard CPAP could not treat.

Mask Fitting Feature
Creating a secure seal is an integral part of successful sleep apnea therapy. The AirCurve 10 helps patients be certain that they have produced a high-quality seal with its special "mask fitting" feature. The AirCurve 10 ResMed VPAP Auto is capable of determining whether your mask is fitting properly (and consequently has an adequate seal) and will display the quality of your fit on its screen - a happy face indicates a desirable fit while a frown indicates that further adjustment is necessary.

Intuitive Design
The AirCurve 10 boasts an intuitive and straightforward design and is remarkably easy to operate. This ResMed VPAP Auto machine has a brightly lit screen that features large buttons and dials. Conveniently, the screen for this device has the ability to automatically adjust brightness according to the available surrounding light; this function guarantees that patients will be able to easily read their screen at all hours.

Data Management System
Managing therapy data is an essential task for patients who seek to fully optimize their overall therapy experience. Toward this end, the AirCurve comes with a wireless module and a data card which has impressive information storage capabilities. With the SD data card, you will be able to obtain compliance and summary data for up to 365 therapy sessions, more detailed data for up to 30 sessions, and high-resolution flow data for a maximum of 7 sessions. With the data management equipment provided by AirCurve you will be able to transfer and share your vital therapy information with your healthcare provider easily so you can receive proper feedback regarding your progress.

Integrated Humidifier
This device has a fully integrated heated humidification system - the HumidAir device. The HumidAir humidification system represents a significant step forward when compared with its predecessor humidifiers - it is easier to use, more advanced, and can be paired with the new (optional) ClimateLineAir heated tubing. Patients who do not wish to use the humidification system can simply detach the Humidifier and operate their AirCurve 10 without it. However, keep in mind that operating your VPAP machine with the HumidAir will generally confer a number of benefits, including preventing nasal congestion, dryness, irritation, and other negative side effects of therapy.

FAQ

What is Card-to-Cloud (C2C)?
C2C, or Card-to-Cloud, refers to the ability of healthcare providers to access patient therapy and usage data via the device’s SD card. While all ResMed devices capture and safely store patient nightly usage data, Air10™ C2C devices cannot relay data directly to the cloud. However, there are steps that can be taken so the data is available for the patient and clinician. Clinicians can use AirView™ to log patient data using the Air10 C2C devices by manually downloading the data off of the patient’s SD card, located on the side of the Air10 C2C device.

Will C2C devices come with an SD card?
Yes. All C2C devices come with a compatible SD card installed in the device.

Why is ResMed offering C2C devices?
To serve the constantly growing backlog of patients waiting to start therapy or to replace a device that is at the end of its design life, they're temporarily adding C2C PAP device to their fleet of connected sleep and respiratory care devices.

Adding C2C devices to ResMed's portfolio of offerings is a temporary decision specifically aimed at alleviating the unmet needs of hundreds of thousands of patients worldwide waiting for ResMed PAP therapy while CAM (Communications Access Module) supply remains constrained.

How can I identify that the device is a C2C device?
Air10 C2C devices are identifiable by the following:

  • Air10 C2C devices have unique model numbers
  • Air10 C2C devices will have unique labeling
  • When powered on, Air10 C2C devices will not have any cellular bars on the top-right corner of the home screen

Will I be able to use myAir app with AirCurve 10 C2C devices?
No. Patients will not have visibility to their therapy and usage data within the myAir app. The myAir app will not capture the patient's sleep data from the Air10 C2C device.

How do patients see how they are performing on therapy with an Air10 C2C device?
Patients will be able to see their nightly data on the device's home screen each morning and view their therapy reports by accessing the Sleep Report menu on the home screen.

For patients to have access to comprehensive therapy details within the Sleep Report menu, ensure that Essentials Plus is selected on the device. Essentials Plus can be enabled within the Clinical Menu by selecting Settings, followed by Essentials, and finally by selecting Plus.

By enabling Essentials Plus, you can allow highly-engaged patients to access additional features, including changing mask type, EPR (if available), SmartStart, and Run Warmup (if water tub is available).

Which accessories can I use with the Air10 C2C devices?
AirCurve 10 VAuto C2C devices are compatible with all existing AirCurve 10 accessories and components. Air10 device accessories and components will have no change to current model numbers.

How will clinicians see how patients are performing on therapy with an AirCurve 10 VAuto C2C device?
Clinicians will be able to use AirView to log data from patients using Air10 C2C devices by manually downloading the data off the device’s SD card.

Question What's the difference between Resmed Aircurve 10 Vauto and Aircurve 10 s Vauto?
Answer
Hi there, the AirCurve 10 S is a fixed-pressure bilevel machine, which means it delivers one consistent pressure for inhalation and another for exhalation.

AirCurve 10 VAuto is an auto-adjusting bilevel machine, which means it changes airflow pressure levels for both inhalation and exhalation based on your needs. Please give us a call if further information is required: 855-707-6649.
