What are CPAP machines used for?

CPAP machines are used to treat Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), and other sleep and breathing disorders. The word CPAP stands for Continuous Positive Airway Pressure. A CPAP machine increases air prssue in your throat so that your airway does not collapse when you breathe in while you are asleep. Without the use of a CPAP machine this could lead to more serious health problems such as cardiovascular conditions from the lack of oxygen your body is missing during the night, to other types of serious problems as fatigue and daytime drowsiness.

Please note: CPAP machines need to be prescribed to you by a physician. All of our CPAP machines require an RX prescription prior to completing your order. Prescriptions can faxed, emailed, or submitted through our online page.
